LESSONS

Teaching music virtually can yield significant growth. When you are my student, I take extra care to ensure you remain engaged and challenged even if we aren't able to meet face-to-face.

Remotely or in person, you will receive an individualized curriculum according to your level and goals. I have a library of materials from which to curate warmups, fundamental exercises, and solo pieces unique to your needs. In the first lesson we will work to establish your musical goals, as well as expectations from me as a teacher so that we can move forward productively. We all come to the clarinet and bass clarinet from a different place and we all will grow in a different way.

You can expect that I will have my instrument out for every lesson. I never ask students to do anything I cannot do myself. Using both words and the instrument to teach are vital.
